We are delighted that you are considering becoming a student of C.S.P.S, where staff and faculty are committed to those seeking the best at their level. Our goal is not only to give students tools and knowledge, but also to transform the way they think. We leave no stone unturned to encourage students to imbibe aptitude of positive response to the persistent demand of the changing society. We are striving hard to achieve these aims and objectives to the maximum possible extent.

The enclosed bulletin highlights the features of our program, which make Chandra Shaikhar Public the School of First Choice for an increasing number of students. The curriculum practicality emphasizes integration of the functional areas of the syllabus with overall development of the child.

Learning is a continuous process to attain the ultimate goal of life. Our institution is marching towards this objective with a pragmatic and holistic approach. Education is not merely progress in academics but also development of moral and social values among the students to make them responsible members of the society. The same realization among parents also adds much more to shaping their children’s lives. And therefore, parents as well as teachers should understand that co-ordination plays vital roles in the functioning of an academic system.

About Us

The foundation stone of Chandra Shaikhar Sr. Sec. Public School (C.S.P.S) was laid on October 1st 1989 by Late Prof. Rakesh Chandra in the loving memory of his father Late Shri Chandra Shaikhar. Construction pursued and the school started rendering its services from December 1st 1989, as a co-educational English medium public school, to the whole community without any discrimination of cast, creed or religion. This sapling of pedagogy was liked, admired and nourished by the entire community and it began to grow to heights soon. This institution is located in Ram Nagar colony of Roorkee by the Delhi-Dehradun Highway amidst picturesque surroundings away from the hustle-and-bustle of the dense city. The school has successfully been serving the community since last 20 years with expertise in producing the finest and enhancing the future of our nation

C.S.P.S is an institution which, in accordance to its vision, provides superior education to young children (boys and girls) and develops core and moral values to make them the responsible citizens of the country.

The principal aim of education at C.S.P.S is to cater for the harmonious development of the personality of the pupils. C.S.P.S has pioneered a “child centric” approach were the child is the pivot of an education institution. It is our belief that schooling lays the foundation for a child in their journey of life, and therefore, we strive to ensure their success in all walks of life.

Our Mission

Our mission adheres to the vision laid out by our founder, Late Professor Rakesh Chandra, with multi-faceted approaches to -

Provide superior quality education to all our deserving children.
Develop moral values among the young ones to enable them to become an honorable member of the society.
Imbibe the sense of discipline and punctuality by sticking firmly to the time schedule fixed for various activities.
Pay individual attention towards each student to lead him/her on the right track of learning.
Develop language writing and oral skills by providing elocution, debating, discussing and writing opportunities.
Develop healthy mind in a healthy body, regular physical exercises, yoga, gymnastic, games and sports facilities are arranged under the supervision of technically qualified experts in vast play ground.
Monitor and supervise their activities – both individually and collectively – on a weekly basis towards all round development of the children.
Provide homely and stress-free environment for (Kinder garden?) primary kids and influence “bag-less” education thus enabling them to develop in their natural ways.
Special classes, talks, shows exhibitions, educational excursions are arranged to provide them with general awareness and civic sense leading to co-operation, co-relation and helpfulness.
Develop ethical values; solo or group performances by students for all categories - for dances, songs, dramas, one act plays and anecdotes.
Foster the dignity of labor by assigning social work such as adult education derives and other social welfare works.
